Chak De!

For the first time in we can’t remember we drove to Tempe for a hindi film. We saw “Chak De India” with Sharukh Khan, Bollywood heart throb. This film is located somewhere between “Hoosiers” and “A League of Their Own” but set in India and centering around girls playing field hockey (Chak De means “Go!” in this context). It was pretty good, with a strong positive message.

It was pretty good, but I liked “Om Shanti Om” better, actually. I think SRK is getting better with age. I need to catch on a lot of movies though and there isn’t a lot of time for me to watch these days…
